I am the author of The Pout-Pout Fish, a rhyming children's picture book illustrated by the very talented Dan Hanna and published by Farrar Straus Giroux. The Pout-Pout Fish spent two weeks on The New York Times Book Review Children's Picture Books Best Sellers list and was named by Time Magazine as One of the Ten Best Children's Books of 2008. I also have a forthcoming children's book called The Barefooted, Bad-Tempered Baby Brigade, which will be published by Tricycle Press in early 2010.
